okay, maybe part of it is I think Gatiss himself is insanely fascinating--having written/created this world with Moffat--and since I picture Gatiss when I think Mycroft, part of that brilliant creative mind gets thrown in there too? or maybe it's just that monstrous controlling omnipowerful voyeurs are irresistible? not sure.
